Padma Shree for Sentila Yanger, Naga Idol Judge
This year's awardees for the Padma Shree include our own Idol Judge Sentila Yanger, for her work in promoting the traditional arts. She is the convenor of the Nagaland Chapter of the Indian National Trust for Architectural Heritage (INTACH) and also a member of the working Committee of the 11th Plan Preparation on Village and Small Enterprises, Planning Commission.
She cites her aunt Chubala, also a Padma Shree recepient, as her inpiration in life.
