MDACC Finalises Schedules for Auditions

Well. Well. Well. Finally the dates are out. Dates for the auditions of AIRCEL Naga Idol 2.07. The anxious contestants have been calling up MDACC, logging on to www.nagaidol.com and reading Impressions in Morung. So move over Moanungsang. Here are the dates that can change the life of a few young men and women.

As per schedule MDACC has tied up with Dimapur Naga Students Union in Dimapur for being their district partners in Dimapur and auditions for Dimapur will be conducted at Hotel Saramati on 3 rd July 2007 from 10 AM onwards.
In Kohima, XL Event Management in association with Orange Events will be the district partners for MDACC and auditions will be held on 4 th July from 10 AM at Hotel Japfu.

Nagaland Hotels Limited which runs the premier Hotels – Japfu in Kohima and Saramati in Dimapur are official Hotel partners for this years Naga Idol.

In Wokha, auditions will be held on 5th July from 10 AM onwards at Town Hall and Cyber Kiosk, Wokha are the official partners of MDACC for Wokha District.

In Mokokchung, the D Day for auditions will be 6th July from 10 AM onwards at Art & Culture Complex, Ungma.

In Tuensang, auditions will be held on 7th July from 10 AM onwards at Circuit House and Tuensang Network for Entertainment & Recreation (TUNER) will be the district partners for MDACC.

In Peren, the Bridge Club and in Kiphire Eastern Explore Association will be district partners of MDACC. We are grateful to all our District Partners in helping us organize the auditions.

In all districts contestants must report by 9 AM for all formalities.
Contestants should come with their two recent photos (Passport Size or Post Card Size – alone). Registration fee is Rs 300, to be submitted during the audition. Walk in auditions will also be allowed after the pre registered contestants have been auditioned.

Thus, MDACC is being able to organize auditions in Kohima, Dimapur, Mokokchung, Tuensang and Wokha this year. Contestants from other districts are free to participate in any Audition Centre of their choice. We would have loved to organize auditions in Mon, Phek, Zunheboto, Longleng, Peren and Kiphire but are unable to in view of the less number of contestants from these districts. Thus we have decided to waive off the registration fees for contestants from these districts in order to enable them to travel to the nearest audition centre.
